The Man, The Mission, The Motivation, The Ministry.
Sean Ingram is the author of “The Passion of the Pen”, “Tears of an Empty Pen”, and “Poetic Prayers of a Fallen Angel”. He is a graduate of The School of the Arts & Communications in Raleigh NC, where he studied Graphic and Multi-Media Design. His studies provided him with the necessary foundation and skills that has allowed him to become the owner and chief executive officer of The Sean Ingram Publishing Corporation.
Sean is truly a flower in bloom who has learned to use his struggles and layers of deferred dreams, physical incarceration and mental imprisonment as a creative stepping stone. These efforts have encouraged others through different forms of art, whether it is writing, acting, singing or performing spoken word, Sean has touched many lives. Mr. Ingram was recognized for his efforts, when he was nominated Poet of the Year and the recipient of the International Poet of Merit Award by the International Society of Poets.
Sean has been blessed with the ability to passionately orate the importance of overcoming obstacles. He uses this gift as a motivational speaker at schools, churches, group homes, and prisons, to invoke inspiration to those who may feel at times somewhat discouraged and despondent, thus proclaiming Sean Ingram in some ways, a poetic voice of the voiceless.
Since March 2009 Sean has founded the The Sean Ingram Society Mentoring Program and has dedicated the Sean Ingram Creative Arts Youth Award to young people who strive to use the arts and their creative talents as an expression of their lives while also uplifting and giving back to their community.
Sean Ingram’s personal journey has been a step by step spiritual testament of pain and perseverance, dreams and delusions, faith and failure, tragedy and triumph; but in spite of it all, he stands today beautifully strong, despite the unattractive scars which life has bestowed upon him.
Book Review for "The Passion of the Pen"
Sean Ingram’s style reminds me of The Palmwine Drinkard by Amos Tutuola, one of the pioneers of African literature in Anglophone West Africa. His very witty use of symbolism is reminiscent of Beaudelaire’s Albatros and Les Fleurs Du Mal (Flowers of Evil).
In fact, this collection challenges conventional thinking and writing, with its lexicon and syntax interestingly provocative—to put it mildly.
Sean’s book, I strongly believe, must be carefully taken and read for what it truly is:

Review for "Tears of an Empty Pen"
The baring of one’s soul with bitter honesty is the most courageous thing in the world to do. In this book, Sean Ingram strips himself naked for all of us to judge him, and ourselves. How brave are you to take that challenge and immerse yourself within the honesty of your works.
